  1. Dear sirs
Could you please explain and why we who live in Swanley do not receive a freedom pass as those in the DA post codes.
We all through our working lives have paid a premium to travel into London !
Now retired we find we are still paying the price with train fares while others are enjoying free travel
( Freedom Pass ) what has happened to fair play.
Would you please look into this unjust system.
    Thanking you in advance

    1. The freedom pass is only available for residents of London Boroughs.

Free transport for pensioners and other groups was introduce by a Labour London Mayor.

As Swanley is not in The Greater London area its residents do not qualify for the freedom pass only the free bus pass which is available to all people receiving the state pension in Btritain.

The extended London Freedom Pass is available only to those in the DA snd BR post code areas to those living within the the boroughs of Bexley or Bromley but not those on Kent

A Labour Kent County Council would wish to extend the scheme to Kent.
