Alaska: The Last Frontier Review

Alaska: The Last Frontier, shows the lives of the Kilcher clan as they live off the land on their 600 acre homestead outside of Homer, Alaska. Watching the programme about homesteaders in Alaska  made me see exactly what climate change was all about.

The winters there for the last three years meant a real shortage of water, which means that it is extremely difficult to get water to give to their cattle and to run their homes. They hadn’t had as much snow as usual so that was another disaster.

It really made me think on climate on how they will survive if this state of affairs continues in the future this is where you can really see what is in store for all of  us if we don’t t do something soon. It is a tremendous program and I would urge you to watch it.
