Dear Unite member

Today, Monday, I have issued my 2018 message to you, our members:

You are the backbone of our countries, doing the vital work our people rely on.

There are great challenges ahead this year but rest assured that your union, Unite, will be doing its utmost to safeguard your jobs and living standards.

You can be confident that the officers and organisers of this union are working flat out to support you at work, delivering pay deals, training and investment.

But we also need to grow our union so that we can continue to deliver not only for you, our members, but so that we can make our contribution to a fairer society.
