The Tories have stabbed the country in the back
Over the last 7 years, the Tories have stabbed the country in the back. They have stabbed their voters in the back, with U-turn after U-turn, they promise one thing and to those who listen, they stab them in the back, shedding policies that put them in a bad light.
The Tories have also stabbed the general public in the back. In speeches in between elections, where they promise more help for public services, yet simultaneously cutting funds. They talk of helping the ‘just about managing’ whilst tightening the squeeze on their finances.
They have stabbed the elderly, a key part of their vote, in back, where at the last election, they proposed a dementia tax, which would hit some of the most vulnerable people in our society.
They have stabbed the young people of this country in the back, where education, a child’s start in life, and their gateway to success in the world, has been mercilessly cut, with teachers at the gates asking for donations just to buy the pens and pencils or pay the staff.
The Tories have stabbed the country in the back. Only a Labour government can save the country from them.
