Phoenix George at the Swanley Labour Stall during the General Election

How Politics Will Affect Me

With tuition fees rising by an increasing percentage every year with a tory government, who knows how much University would cost me if by then our country is in the hands of the conservatives? The increase of money comes with the increase of people simply not having the money to be able to go to University. I’m sure you would like to be able to go to univeristy without worrying about the costs, well with a vote for Labour you and I both can. This is just one reason for why mine and your’s votes are both important.

Conservatives want to:

Scrap free school lunches for infants in England, but offer free breakfasts across the primary years

Labour wants to:

Introduce free school meals for all primary school children, paid for by removing the VAT exemption on private school fees.

Just by this small comparison you can see that Labour cares for the many not just the few.

This is why politics is important and our vote counts. A vote for Labour means a vote for all, not just the few.
