Theresa May has announced that if re-elected she will hold a vote in Parliament to bring back fox hunting. She says she has always been in favour of fox hunting.
Richard Gurney, the Joint Master of the local hunt, the Old Surrey, Burstow & West Kent, called for a Conservative vote in ‘Horse and Hound’ magazine.
Labour’s Chris Clark has a record of backing the hunt ban and standing up for animal welfare.
As well as maintaining the hunt ban, Labour’s manifesto is expected to include:
- Better farm animal welfare
- An end to wild animals in circuses
- A total ban on the ivory trade
- An end to the cruel, inefficient and unscientific badger cull
If you care about animal welfare, there’s only one choice in this election. Vote for Labour’s Chris Clark
