Swanley & District Labour Party would like to thank all the people that turned out to help Labour in the recent by-elections. We didn’t win any seats, but the gap between us and the Tories has dramatically narrowed. We were only 15 votes behind in one election, and 37 in another, with a very low turn out.
There are just two Labour Councillors on Swanley Town Council. Obviously the people of Swanley need more!

We were out across the town campaigning for a Cleaner, Greener, Safer Swanley. The elections may be over, but we are continuing to campaign to improve our environment, focussing on traffic congestion and air pollution in particular. There are many positive things about living in Swanley – and together we can make it even better.
While the Tories nationally and locally squabble over “dirty politics” Labour will be fighting to improve people’s lives in everyway we can. Join us. We have members of all ages, ethnicities and occupations. The struggle is joyous.
